WILMINGTON: The MOOver has hired Christine Fayette as its new General Manager effective September 1, 2017, replacing Jan Terk who will retire on that date.
Terk, who has worked for the MOOver for 18 years, announced her retirement late last year. The MOOver conducted an extensive search and interview process, and recently hired Fayette.
No stranger to the Deerfield Valley, Fayette is the former co-owner of the Doveberry Inn for 21 years. Recently, she was Assistant Head of Business and Operations at Lyndon Institute in Lyndonville, Vermont. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and an Associates’ Degree in Culinary Arts. She brings extensive financial and management experience to the company.
Christine will work 1-2 days per week starting March 11th learning the winter business cycle, and will help with budgets and grant writing in April and May. On July 1st she will become full-time and will have two months working closely with Jan. This will provide an extended training period to prepare her for this key role.
