D A Y!!!! To help celebrate Independence Day in the Deerfield Valley, the MOOver is changing and expanding our normal schedules to provide park and shuttle services to the Wardsboro Street Fair, and to the Readsboro and Wilmington Fireworks.. The FREE shuttle bus for the Readsboro Fireworks runs 6:30-10:00 pm Saturday, June 27th from the Gazebo to the ball field, and returns after the fireworks. The fireworks start at dusk. The FREE Wardsboro Street Fair Shuttle runs 8:00-10:00 am Saturday, July 4th from the field next to the Wardsboro School to Main Street, and then starts up again after the parade is over until around noon. The parade starts at 10:00 am. Heres the plan for the FREE Wilmington Fireworks at Baker Field starting at dusk (@9:00-9:15 pm) Saturday, July 4th (rain date Sunday, July 5th): Route 100, West Dover Wilmington
Departs the Health Center at the top of the hour 7:00 am 8:00 pm every
60 minutes. The last northbound bus to Mount Snow leaves the Health Center
at 8:00 pm. The 8:30 pm MOOver leaving Mount Snow goes only as far as the
High School and will not continue on to the Health Center. The last
southbound MOOver from Mount Snow is 8:30 pm. Extra MOOvers will wait at the
High School until the fireworks are over, and then will travel north to Mount
Snow. These buses have a brown 7 on them and say Wilmington-Dover and they
will not stop at the Howe Farm park and ride lot. Park & Ride North of Wilmington
There will be a park and ride lot at the
Howe Farm about three miles north of Wilmington from 5:00-9:00 pm. Park there and ride the
special buses to the High School that have a green A on them and say
Special. Look for the same bus on your return trip. After the fireworks,
DO NOT get on the Route 100 MOOver buses with the brown 7 on them as these
will not stop at the Howe Farm field! Park & Ride West of Wilmington
There will be a park and ride lot at the Deerfield Valley
Supply about one mile west of Wilmington from 5:00-9:00 pm. Park there and ride the special buses
to the High School that have
a Black C on them and say DV Supply. We appreciate your cooperation. Remember that this
park and ride plan will not eliminate traffic delays. It is done to help keep
the fireworks in downtown Wilmington and to facilitate efforts by the police,
rescue and Chamber of Commerce staff.
