WILMINGTON: The MOOver is upgrading and in some cases installing new signage at 180 bus stops this summer.
Thanks to a grant by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans), the MOOver is placing bus stop signs wherever there is not an existing sign. For signs already in place, the old schedule holders will be removed. All bus stops will receive a new all weather sign featuring the schedule for that particular stop. A map of the route, QR code linked to the website, and instructions about the Transit app which shows where buses are in real time, round out the information at each stop.
Installations will begin in Brattleboro next week. The company projects a late August completion date.
