About
Southeast Vermont Transit (SEVT) is one of Vermont’s seven designated public transit operators serving 34 Windham and southern Windsor towns. We provide fixed route, microtransit, Medicaid, Olders & Disabled, and ADA paratransit rides by bus, van, and volunteer.
SEVT is a 501c3 company, founded in 1996 as Deerfield Valley Transit Association. In 2015 we merged with Connecticut River Transit to become Southeast Vermont Transit. Since 1996 we have nicknamed the company The MOOver because we have Holstein-themed buses.
Key positions are CEO Christine Howe, CFO Keith Johnson, and COO Tammy Neathawk. We have almost 100 employees in the winter and 75 year round. Four mechanics service over 60 vehicles of all types in our facilities in Rockingham and Wilmington, Vermont.
