ROUTE 30 FEASIBILITY STUDY PUBLIC MEETING COMING AGUST 26TH

WILMINGTON:  A public meeting on the feasibility study of possible public transit bus service along Route 30 will be held Thursday, August 26th from 4:00-6:00 pm at the NewBrook Fire House at 698 Route 30 in Newfane.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) has hired RLS & Associates to do the study. Southeast Vermont Transit (SEVT) and the Windham Regional Commission (WRC) are partners in the project.

The meeting will be an open house so come in/join anytime. The agenda includes a presentation about study activities completed to date, an opportunity to talk about transportation needs, and how a new transit route could be designed to address those needs.

The meeting location is accessible to people with disabilities. Individuals requiring any accommodations in order to attend the meeting should contact RLS & Associates at (937) 299-5007 no later than August 24. Face coverings will be required while attending the meeting.
